OMGoodness!!! Loooook at those!!

I love cookbooks!!! Especially the ones full of pretty pictures!!! I think I’m referring to the baking cookbooks more so than the actual meal ones!!

Today was not as planned BUT I was walking for 4 hours with mummy looking for runners, which unfortunately I did not find…, but look what I did pick up!!!

Aren’t they pretty?! When I saw them I thought these would make great presents! Now that I’m home, I’m really considering keeping them for myself!
They’re just so pretty to look at!

Don’t you agree??

Our campervan journey (part 9)

RACING to the Porpoise bay to try beat the sun to try catch sunrise! ๐Ÿ˜›

Watching it from inside our campervan because it was cold!! Nice and cozy inside on our bed! Hehehe

The sea side where there were fossilised trees!!

Then the crazy-ass waterfall you could walk right up beside! Dangerous so if you do decide to climb, becareful!

Image

ย

And then off to Florence Hill, beautiful but very windy!

Image

More waterfalls!!

SO MANY SHEEEEEP RUNNING!

Driving to where we were staying for the night! The bay to ourselves!

By the lighthouse!

Then off to the Speights brewery for a tour and free beer!!

Image

I thought it was a very good tour and well worth going if you like beer!ImageImage

Image

Then off to Cadbury’s World! It was good, but I think kids would enjoy it more!

Image

Image

China town! I’m a ninja!

Image

The old train station!

Sunshine all around!

So the sun is shining high in the mighty blue skies with a perfect breeze in the air.. but it appears we’re so used to it that we have decided to spend most of today indoors doing PhD applications. Fun times for all! ๐Ÿ˜›

Nah, we’re going to the Tahunanui beach in a bit to chill out after we’ve done most of the things we need to get done. The beach is only a few minutes walk away so it’s pretty sweet! There shall be some nice photos later so.ย

Got a lovely card today from a friend! I’m only here less than a week and I’ve already got post.. TWICE! Feeling the love indeeeeed… ๐Ÿ˜€ย

We made pancakes today because we were too full last night for them! We didn’t miss Pancake Tuesday if that’s what you think, despite it being Wednesday and all, because it’s Tuesday today in Ireland! So.. the pancake mix that you just have to “add water” to (we added milk!).. ย they were… Average… and that’s pushing it. They were ok.. I guess. Not the usual ones Kieran and I would make back in Ireland. The ready made one tasted a bit funny. Maybe its the buttermilk flavour that we bought.. who knows. It was more “cake”y than we’re used to. Chocolate and banana.. nice.. but after a few we weren’t feeling amazing anymore.. so the rest of the batter shall be left for tomorrow!
