Back in Auckland and the start of Australian adventures!

So we dropped off our campervan and flew back up north to Auckland where Kieran’s friend picked us up! Played a bit of mini-golf! Fun times!

Then back to the airport to fly to Australia! 2 weeks of Australian adventures! Upon arrival we saw this sign..

We thought we were in for that Australian border control tv show! False alarm! We got through and it was practically empty!

Kieran’s friend picked us up and we headed back to theirs for the night! And OMG.. first encounter of wild kangaroos! One massive one hopped right out onto the road and was bouncing along ahead of us!! Then a smaller one after that! Was crazy! I was like.. AHHH OMG KANGAROOOOOO! And the guy goes “yeah, this is very common in Australia”. Wooo Woo! So if you like kangaroos/wallabies, this is your country.. IF you’re not afraid of large insects!

Then we went to visit some wild koala bears! Can you spot them!?

Image

It was hard to get close ups because they were so far away.

Then to the 12 apostles… I didn’t quite see twelve, but that happens as the rocks wear down from the waves

And them some rock pool where eels swim up to during spawning season apparently

We visited the Gold Mines and the towns they were inImage

Then off to wildlife park! I loved the wildlife parks in Australia because wallabies and kangaroos were everywhere! And you can buy little seed packets and feed them or feed them bread! and the time we were there there were little babies in the mother kangaroo’s pouches!

We went to visit China town! So amazing! If you’re interested in Chinese culture or even if you’re Chinese with no interest, it’s really amazing. Just the history there!

Then off to see the little penguins! They didn’t let us take pictures of the actual penguin in case we scared them, so this is as good as it gets! 😀
